RiskPedia Consulting Referral Terms

Last updated: 16 Feb 2026. Plain English. Built for India BFSI engagements.

10% referral fee on engaged projects

RiskPedia earns 10% of the total project fee when a client introduced by RiskPedia engages a consultant from our network. Referral fee applies to the first engagement with that client only — no fee on repeat engagements or referrals made independently by the client thereafter.

Consultant responsibilities

Consultants who accept a referral agree to:
  • Notify RiskPedia within 7 days of signing an engagement with a referred client.
  • Share the project fee (or stage-wise fees) honestly so the referral fee can be invoiced.
  • Pay the 10% referral fee within 30 days of receiving client payment for each milestone.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the client's information.

Payment process

RiskPedia generates a Razorpay payment link for the referral-fee amount. The consultant clicks and pays via UPI / Card / NetBanking. The payment is recorded against the engagement in real-time. Payment links remain valid for 30 days from issuance.

What RiskPedia does not do

  • RiskPedia is a directory and matchmaker. We do not intermediate the engagement contract.
  • RiskPedia is not liable for consultant deliverables, fees or disputes between client and consultant.
  • Quality of work, timeliness and confidentiality are the consultant's responsibility.

Disputes & waivers

If a referral fee is contested (e.g. the engagement was demonstrably pre-existing), the consultant may submit evidence (prior emails / contracts) for review. RiskPedia retains discretion to waive a fee where the case is compelling. All decisions are final and made in good faith.

Contact

These terms apply automatically when a consultant accepts a RiskPedia referral. By clicking the "Reach out to client" link in a referral email, the consultant is deemed to have accepted these terms.
